After a positive start to the new domestic season, Vietnamese outfit Becamex Binh Duong are optimistic ahead of Asian Champions League campaign this season.
The V-League champions have been drawn against Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, Shandong Luneng and Kashiwa Reysol in the group stage, but the club’s director, Cao Van Chong is staying positive about the clubs chances.
“Playing in the two competitions will be difficult for us, in order to retain the V-League title and go further in the Asian Champions League,” Van Chong told Bongdaplus. However, we will always be determined to play with our best.”
Le Thuy Huy’s side are currently third in the domestic league table and will start their Asian journey against Shandong Luneng on February 24 at their home ground of Go Dau Stadium, Thu Dau Mot.
