Iran international Alireza Jahanbakhsh has attracted the interest of Celtic with his good performances for Holland’s NEC Nijmegen, according to reports.
The 21-year-old winger’s contract with the Dutch second division club is currently set to expire in 2016.
Jahanbakhsh is a product of the Damash Gilan youth academy, and has developed into a key player for the Goffertstadion residents since his arrival in the summer of 2013.
Nevertheless, local newspaper De Gederlander claim the Jirandeh-born attacker will not be for sale unless the Scottish giants are ready to meet their €2 million price tag.
Jahanbakhsh has scored 17 goals in 54 appearances for NEC, earning 15 senior caps for Team Melli in the same period. He featured for Iran in the recent AFC Asian Cup as well as the 2014 World Cup.
