Bali United Pusam FC president Yabes Tanuri has announced his club’s intention of signing veteran Japanese striker Seiichiro Maki according to local media.
The Indonesian Super League outfit, who started their campaign with two consecutive losses, stumbled in their effort to acquire Tunisian Mehdi Ben Dhifallah.
“Mehdi’s verification process [with the league] failed,” Tanuri told reporters in Jakarta earlier this week according to Viva.
He then revealed that the club is pursuing Maki. who appeared in the 2006 World Cup, as well as Argentine midfielder Ezequiel Gonzalez.
United may be forced to wait until later this year to acquire the two foreign players as the ISL transfer window has already closed.
