has called on his side to maintain focus on their winning momentum in the Super League after defeating Terengganu 3-1 last Saturday.

The 29-year-old striker scored a goal to seal the three points for The Cops, claiming their sixth victory this season and keeping them on top of the table with a perfect 18 points.

“It was a good result and we are happy to be on the top, and we will try to win our next matches with this good form,” the skipper told Maldivesoccer.

Ashfaq, who was named Malaysia’s best foreign player in 2014, helped PDRM to clinch a promotion to this year’s Super League after scoring 18 goals in their Malaysia Premier League-winning campaign.
