Myanmar confirms overseas camp ahead of SEA Games

The Football Federation (MFF) has confirmed a planned training camp in Japan and Vietnam ahead of the in Singapore.

A provisional squad of 29 players have been training together since April 19, with team coach Kyi Lwin set to decide his final 23-player roster before the start of the tournament.

In addition to tests between local Japanese and Vietnamese sides between May 8 and 19, the MFF have also revealed a planned friendly against Vietnam U-23 to be held at Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City on May 22.

Myanmar will open their SEA Games campaign against Indonesia on June 2 at Jalan Besar Stadium; their Group A also includes hosts Singapore, Philippines, and Cambodia.
