have unveiled Kenny Shiels
as their new head coach following the departure of tactician Bozidar Bandovic.
The former Northern Ireland U-17 trainee, who was known for making controversial comments during is managerial career with Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premier League, now will set his new reign in Asia.
“I am very excited, This is my first day in Bangkok and I want to bring the best for this club and myself,” the 59-year-old told a news conference.
“My target is to move the club forward, to improve what’s happening on and off the pitch. This season has just begun and still early to measure success.
“However, with a couple of victories the team (in the next fixture), hope we can build confidence and gain momentum.”
BEC Tero currently stand 13th on the 2015 TPL standing, two places above the relegation zone with collecting 12 points from 10 games so far.
