Indonesia can handle Chinese Taipei, says Huistra

believes that national team “are strong enough” to handle pressure from in their opening fixture of joint qualifiers of and 2019 Asian Cup.

The Dutch coach, who was appointed as an interim coach earlier this month, will make his debut as Merah Putih’s tactician against the East Asian side on June 11 at Taipei Municipal Stadium.

“I have watched the video between Chinese Taipei versus Brunei in the first round of qualifier and I can understand their strenght,” the 48-year-old told reporters.

“We will prepare our plan to handle their pressure, against Brunei they played direct ball which resulting in their two victory goals and we will anticipate that style.”

Indonesia were drawn into Group F along with Chinese Taipei, Iraq and South-East Asian rivals Thailand and Vietnam.
