Myanmar U-20 coach Zeise anticipates tough World Cup challenge

is expecting a tough test for junior national team in the upcoming U-20 World Cup campaign which will take place in New Zealand on May 30 – June 20.

The Young White Angels were drawn into Group A along with United States, Ukraine and the host New Zealand.

“The United States are stronger than us but I am not afraid of this challenge,” said the German tactician as quoted by Myanmar Times.

“They are taller and stronger and possess greater individual skill than our players, but I have also identified their weaknesses which we will look to exploit.

“And the Ukranian side consist of players from teams that compete with the best in Europe, and New Zealand are the host. Every match will be a tough one for us.”

Myanmar have arrived in the Oceanian country on May 24 after arranging a training camp in Australia as their preparation ahead of their opening fixture against United States on May 30.
