In-form diminutive winger Andik Vermansah has been recalled to the Indonesia squad for the upcoming joint qualifiers of 2018 World Cup and 2019 Asian Cup.
The 23-year-old Selangor FA star has scored three goals in his last ten Malaysia Super League appearances. His last international appearance came in a 3-0 friendly defeat to Netherlands in 2013.
Dutch-born forward Sergio van Dijk is also included after being left since AFF Suzuki Cup last year, but his recent showings for Suphanburi in Thai Premier League has earned him a recall from interim coach Pieter Huistra.
There are maiden call-ups for Persipura Jayapura duo Nelson Alom and Dominggus Fakdawer, Persib Bandung full-back Dias Angga, and PBR midfielder Rachmat Hidayat.
Merah Putih squad are scheduled to play their two opening fixtures against Chinese Taipei at Municipal Stadium on June 11 and Iraq at Mandala Stadium behind closed doors on June following AFC sanctions.
