Italian Serie A outfit Udinese have wrapped up the signing of Iraqi promising talent Ali Adnan from Caykur Rizespor.
The 21-year-old versatile full-back reportedly left the Turkish club to join Udinese on a long term deal for a fee believed to be in the region between €7-10 million.
“We have reached an agreement with Udinese. Ali Adnan will go for medical test following the deal,” read a statement by Rizespor’s spokesman Aykut Ferah on the club’s official site.
The Baghdad-born player has been labeled as the Asia’s Gareth Bale after showing impressive performance in the 2013 U-20 World Cup, grabbing the attentions of European top clubs such as Chelsea and AS Roma.
Adnan has earned over 34 international caps for Iraq squad since his debut in 2012 at the age of 18, playing at the 2015 Asian Cup, where he led the team into semifinals.
