Al Nasr v Al Ain: United Arab Emirates Presidents Cup Quarter Final

Former international says he is unsure he will still be with next season ahead the President’s Cup final against Al Ahli this week.

The 31-year-old midfielder’s two-year contract is due to expire in this summer and with the talks have yet to take place regarding an extension, he revealed his desire to clinch the trophy for the Blue Wave.

“Who knows? If it (the President’s Cup final) was my last game here then it was, definitely,” said Holman as quoted by The National.

“The future is a little bit cloudy, so there’s no point getting carried away now in the next three days. We’ll get the final over and done with, sit down and see where I’m at next year.”

Holman, who joined the UAE giants from Aston Villa in 2013, was a part of club’s successful campaign in the Gulf Champions Club last year after ending a 25-year wait for title.
