Uzbekistan head coach Mirjalol Qosimov has named a strong 23-man for the upcoming matches against Iran and North Korea.
The White Wolves take on Iran in a warm-up match at Bunyodkor Stadium on June 11 before leaving for North Korea five days later to start their campaign in joint qualifiers of 2018 World Cup and 2019 Asian Cup.
Highly-rated midfielders Server Djeparov and Odil Ahmedov are back to the squad after being missed in the last friendly 5-1 defeat to Japan last March, as well as goalkeeper Ignatiy Nesterov and Lokomotiv Moscow defender Vitaliy Denisov.
The 2011 Asian Cup semifinalists have been drawn in Group H along with North Korea, Bahrain, Philippines and Yemen, will hold their first training camp in Tashkent from June 8 to 14.
