The Arabian Gulf League outfit are lining up a lucrative deal to sign forward , according to a report in the Le 10 Sport.

It is alleged that the Abu Dhabi-based club will send a proposal which is worth around €15m, plus triple his current €2.9m per year wages despite the international still has three years contract to run.

Should the 28-year-old make the move, he would join up with former Italian Serie A striker Mirko Vucinic who is currently plying his trade under Eric Gerets’ guidance, scoring 25 goals in 23 games in the 2014/15 league campaign.

Vucinic has been a scintillating success for Al Jazira since moving from Juventus last summer, where he formed a lethal partnership with UAE striker Ali Mabkhout to lead the team to finish second at the end of season.
