skipper stated that his side would prefer to face in the ’ semi-final.

The Young War Elephants have already booked their place in the top four stage, while the host Singapore still have to win their final game of group stage against Indonesia U-23 if they want to qualify.

“I prefer to face off against Singapore even though they have the home crowd behind them because that will test the quality of Thailand,” said the 23-year-old midfielder.

Choketawee Promrut’s men performed impressively during the tournament after winning their three previous games, scoring 13 goals without conceding any goals and Sarach is confident that his side can keep their unbeaten streak alive.

“There is no extra pressure on the team because we’ve been together for more than a year now,” he said ahead of the game against Vietnam.

“This may be my first time as captain but I don’t feel any pressure. We just have to play our own game.”
