Arema Cronus star Samsul Arif is considering leaving to play abroad amid the uncertain situation within the Indonesian football following Fifa’s sanction earlier this month.
The 30-year-old reportedly holding initial talks with Malaysian club, revealing that he has recieved an offer to continue his career in the neighbouring country.
“I’ve received an offer to move abroad [to Malaysia] with the move is set in next September after the current [Malaysian domestic leagues] season ends,” said the Bojonegoro-born striker.
“I’ve also been told that I can continue my career aborad despite our federation was suspended by Fifa. They should not prevent the move because we work as footballer.”
Previously, two Indonesian internationals have also decided to pursue abroad journeys when Dedi Gusmawan sealed a move to Myanmar club Zeyar Shwe Myay and Greg Nwokolo to Thai’s BEC Tero Sasana.
