Michael Laudrup looks set to leave Qatari club after failing to agree a contract extension. The former Swansea City boss had suggested he would remain in the Middle East for another year, having penned a 12-month deal in May 2014. But the former Real Madrid playmaker has said an agreement could not be reached, according to reports in Denmark.

“Unfortunately, there were things concerning the contract that we could not agree on, and therefore I will NOT be continuing in ,” Laudrup is said to have written in an email.
