Terengganu FA striker Norshahrul Idlan Talaha has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to the K-League side Incheon United.
Previously, an official letter from the South Korean outfir has been circulating on social media, where the club expressed their official interest in acquiring the services of the 29-year-old Malaysia Super League star.
However, Norshahrul, who commonly known as Mat Yo, insisted that he never received any formal offers from Incheon and distanced himself from the transfer issue.
“I don’t know anything about it,” he said was quoted by Sinar Harian. “If the rumour was true, then Terengganu as my club should have known it first but they didn’t tell me anything on that rumour.
“So, I can confirm that was not true and I have never been contacted regarding the issue as it became a virals in the couple past days.”
Norshahrul was released by Johor Darul Takzim at the end of last season after struggling to score goals. He continued his poor run of form with ATM FA this year, which led to the second departure last month.
