Phnom Penh Crown have signed Cambodian international Keo Sokngon, while also recruiting his younger brother Keo Sokpheng, both from Boeung Ket Angkor.
The Crown announced the Keo Brothers capture on Thursday as their major signing in preparation for next season’s Metfone Cambodian League which will begin in early July.
“We are very happy having Sokpheng, one of the best players in Cambodia at this time, join us at our club,” said the defending champions’ head tactician Sam Schweingruber.
“With such a tough schedule ahead of us, so many games in such a short time period, a bigger squad is essential. We are therefore very pleased to add two more players.”
Keo Sokngon, 23, plays as a striker since his professional debut in 2007, while his younger brother, Keo Sokpheng, 21, has a role as midfielder.
Phnom Penh Crown will begin their new domestic league season campaign against Boeung Ket at new venue RSN Stadium in Toul Kork on July 2.
