Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan is expected to arrive in China on Wednesday afternoon to sign a mega deal to join Chinese big-spenders Shanghai SIPG.
The 29-year-old has received the all-clear from Al Ain to agree on personal terms with the Chinese club coached by Sven-Goran Eriksson.
Al Ain will be compensated with a huge transfer fee while Gyan will see his weekly earnings rise to a staggering US $350,000.
The former Udinese man stunned the whole world with his initial loan move to Al Ain in 2011 from English club Sunderland.
Gyan had then completed his first season with the Black Cats with a goal tally of 13.
