Napoli striker Eduardo Vargas looks set to sign for Al-Ain in the United Arab Emirates.
The striker’s agent recently said that the Partenopei didn’t have Vargas in their plans for next season, so a move away from the Stadio San Paolo seemed likely. It is now all but sealed after a deal was reached between the Italian and Emirati clubs.
Chilevision.cl reports that the 25-year-old has agreed a deal worth €3.5 million a season for himself, while Napoli are set to accept a bid of €11m for his services.
Vargas joined Napoli in January 2012 but has had spells out on loan with Gremio, Valencia and Queens Park Rangers. He has only managed three goals in 28 appearances for the Italian club.
