Thailand FA president Worawi Makudi has been handed a suspended jail term after being found guilty of forgery in his 2013 re-election.
A Bangkok sentenced Worawi to a suspended term of one year and four months, with former Thailand Football Association (FAT) secretary general Ong-art Korsinka handed the same sentence for his role in the forgery.
The pair were found guilty of falsifying documents to amend the FAT statutes in the election, which Worawi won.
Worawi, who spent 18 years on the FIFA executive committee and has been FAT president since 2007, has indicated that he will appeal the decision.
