Melvin de Leeuw is prepared to call time on his Army United playing career and leave Royal Thai Army in a bid to join another Thai Premier League team.
The Dutch striker has confirmed that the game agaisnt Suphanburi would be his last game for the Army. He also revealed that he had already accepted to join another Thai Premier League club.
The Dutchman joined Army United from Ross County in Scottish Premier League in 2014. He helped his new club to the top of the Thai Premier League with three goals in his first five games.
“This game will be my last game for Army and I’m on my way to join another team. I got many offers, but I couldn’t tell you which club I would play for,” said de Leeuw.
“I’m happy with the time at army. I met new friends, met lovely Thai people. I would never not forget my time in this club. It is a short period but it is my first club in Thailand.”
