Indonesia international defender Victor Igbonefo has joined Thai Premier League side Osotspa M-150 on a half-season loan deal from Arema Cronus.
The 29-year-old, who played for Arema since 2012, spent last season with 26 appearances and led his team to finish as Indonesia Super League’s semifinalist.
Igbonefo was unveiled by Osotspa on Wednesday, where has been handed the no. 30 shirt and is expected to join the rest of the team for training session.
“I will play for Osotspa on loan for the second leg of TPL this season. All the transfer details have been done and there was no problem on it,” said the Nigerian-born was quoted by Goal Indonesia.
His latest deal will set a second TPL stint for Igbonefo after having previous spell in the Thailand’s top tier competition with Chiangrai united back in 2012.
