Algerian international Ishak Belfodil has officially joined the UAE Arabian Gulf League side Bani Yas on a two-year contract.
The 23-year old forward, who played for Inter in 2013, was a free agent after terminating his contract with bankrupt Italian club Parma prior to the end of last season.
Belfodil was unveiled by the Abu Dhabi-based club on Tuesday before departing to Spain to join his new team-mates in their pre-season training camp.
Despite playing for France as a youth, the Olympique Lyon academy product opted to represent Algeria at the senior international level. He has scored twice in 12 appearances since earning his first cap in 2013 in a friendly against Guinea.
