Kler Heh, former Thai refugee, has decided to represent Myanmar national team over Thailand, according to Burmese media reports.
The Sheffield United winger was born in the Umpiem Mai Refugee Camp, while he and his family of ethnic Karens, a minority group who have faced oppression in Myanmar, had already been on their trip to part away from his motherland.
He and his family were resettled in Sheffield as part of the United Nations gateway protection programme later. And like a fairy tale, the 18-year-old was awarded a professional contract from Sheffield United for his wonderful efforts in all academic levels at the club.
It was reportedly that Kler Heh will make his international debut for The White Angels on September 7, in a friendly game versus New Zealand.
