Dion was born to a Belgian father and Malaysian mother from Kuching in Sarawak who moved to Belgium after their marriage more than 20 years ago. The 19-year-old plied his youth trade with several Belgian clubs before debuting in professional level with Oud-Heverlee Leuven in 2014. After spending one season in Leuven, he moved to Club Brugge this summer. Despite was already represented Belgium U-19 at international level, Dion is still eligible to represent since he has been capped for senior team.
