Alfaro joined Lazio in the 2011-12 season for a fee of 3 million euro. He is also a Uruguay international, has been playing for his country since 2011.
His signing strengthens Buriram’s ambitions this season, where they are leading the Thai Premier League with 47 points from 21 matches. However, Alfaro is not eligible to play until next season according to the league’s registry rules.
