Indonesia international forward Ferdinand Sinaga is on Perth Glory’s radar after his goalscoring performance at former club Persib Bandung.
The 26-year-old was scouted by the A-League club since the 2014 Indonesia Super League (ISL) campaign, when he was given the Best Player award after leading Maung Bandung to win the league title.
Ferdinand signed a one-year deal with Sriwijaya FC last November, but his contract was terminated due to the inactive of this year’s ISL season.
“He is an aggressive player and has a great scoring instincts especially with his left foot. Basically, we are interested [to sign him],” said Perth Glory assistant coach Andrew Ord was quoted by Juara.
The Bengkulu-born, who will don PSM Makassar jersey in the upcoming domestic tournament President Cup, has a chance to attend a trial at Perth Glory next season, according to an Indonesian agent Gabriel Budi.
“Perth Glory are interested in Ferdinand. They have sent Andrew Ord to scout him personally after watching video footages,” said Gabriel.
