Delhi Dynamos have announced the signing of the former Chelsea winger Florent Malouda ahead of the second season of Indian Super League.
The 35-year-old ex-France international star joins the Delhi franchise after agreeing terms with the club and will link up with Roberto Carlos, who was appointed to become player-manager.
“Say ‘Namaste Malouda’ as we welcome former Chelsea star, European Champions League winner and World Cup finalist Florent Malouda to our Pride!” read a statement on club’s official Twitter.
Malouda, who has been capped 80 times for the France national team, has plied his trade last season with French side FC Metz on a one-year deal.
The second edition of ISL will get underway in early October and lasts for ten weeks, with Dynamos will travel to the coastal state to face FC Goa on 4 October.
