Bayer Leverkusen forward Son Heung-min is reportedly set to undergo a medical at Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday, according to the reports.
The 23-year-old South Korean rising star is the latest player lined up by Spurs, as the English Premier League side consider ending their interest in West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino.
Son’s move to London has moved a step closer after Leverkusen’s sporting director Rudi Voller revealed the issue to public, with the proposed deal is reportedly worth €30m.
“There is a request and there are talks. But nothing is done. Son would not have played today (against Lazio) anyway, he was sick at the weekend already. At this moment he is our player,” he told Sky Deutschland.
“I saw many medicals in this business where there was no deal afterwards. We will try to reach an agreement, but only under our conditions.”
The former FC Seoul youth setup has scored 21 goals in 62 German Bundesliga appearances for Leverkusen having joined them from Hamburger SV in summer 2013.
