full-back has denied reports that he is set to join Chinese Super League’s in January.

The 23-year-old Spaniard has been linked with a sensational loan transfer to the Chinese giants involving China international full-back , who would move in the opposite direction as part of the deal.

“I have read those reports and my first reaction to laugh,” he told AS after the 2-1 victory in La Liga over Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday night.

“It’s a funny story, but not true. This is my home and I’m very happy here.”

Carvajal’s future at Los Blancos was under scrutiny over the summer after the signing of Danilo from Porto, but took advantage of an injury to the Brazilian to establish himself in starting line-up.

“I hope Danilo recovers soon because he will bring many things to our side. The manager trusts in me now and I am trying to respond to that confidence with good performances,” he added.
