Football, can indeed, be a funny old game and in Tom Rogic’s case he will have two trips into deepest Lanarkshire sandwiching a journey to the heat of the Middle East for a game against Jordan.
The 22-year-old is bang on form at the moment following a lengthy injury and that can only mean good news for supporters of both the Hoops and the Socceroos.
He told this week’s Celtic View: “We’re off to Jordan which should be interesting. It’s a tough away match and it’s good to be back involved in the national team as well.
“I’m just happy to be playing for club and country at the minute and we’ll hopefully get an important win there.”
Rogic added: “It’s nice to be back fit and that’s sort of the main thing on both fronts with Celtic and Australia. To be playing in the last international games and obviously to score as well was a bonus.
“I’ll be looking to do that this week, so hopefully we can carry with some good form and I can bring that back to the club as well.”
