Birmingham City have launched a search for a star among the city’s Asian community.

Blues have joined forces with the Football Association, Birmingham County FA and local side Continental Star to stage a talent identification competition.

The day-long event will be held on Saturday, October 31, at The Hub, Holford Drive, Birmingham and is open for Under 9, Under 10, Under 11 and Under-12 Asian players.

Four winners will be selected from each age group with the prize a trial with Blues Academy, while their club coaches will be invited to attend coaching and training sessions at Wast Hills.

Blues Academy coaches will put on sessions at the free event and each participant will receive one free family ticket (two adults and up to three children) for a Blues game during this season.
