Ahead of the important match in Thai Premier League today, SCG Muang Thong United welcome back a key defender while their rivals Chonburi are ruining the absence of a couple of their stars.

Muang Thong, who lost the lead to defending champions Buriram at the weekend, will have Japanese Naoaki Aoyama back from a one-match ban for the crucial match.

The Kirins will be hoping for a victory at home against Chonburi, who will also be missing Adul Lahso, to reclaim the No.1 place, but much will also depend on the result of the Buriram v Ratchaburi clash.

Muang Thong assistant coach Pol Chomchuen said: “We are happy that Naoaki will be back to help the team.”

“Other players are all ready and looking forward to the match against Chonburi. We expect peak performances from our players after the 1-1 draw against TOT on Saturday. We have to beat Chonburi today.”

The match at SCG stadium will start at 20:00 (GMT +7), Oct 28.
