Suphanburi striker Sergio van Dijk insisted that he does not want to leave the club and continue his stint in the Thai Premier League.
The 33-year-old Indonesia international star is out of contract at the end of the season, but revealed that he would be happy to sign a contract extension.
“My current contract will expire next December, but I want to stay here because I feel comfortable with the club’s environment. I will give my best in order to get it,” he told Goal Thailand.
The Dutch-born forward, who moved to Suphanburi from Iranian club Sepahan last year, has also recently admitted he is proud with his individual performance after scoring ten goals in 19 appearences this season.
“Now I get more minutes of play than before and I can prove my quality with every goals for Suphanburi’s fans,” he concluded.
