Vathanaka, 21, has been touted with the move after there was a talk between an unnamed Japanese club and C-League giant Boeung Ket Angkor.

“It would be great if I can play in , that is my dream,” the former Preah Khan Reach talisman told Cambodian site We Are Football.

Vathanaka, who is regarded as one of Cambodian most promising players, has scored 35 goals in domestic competition this season – the highest number among South-East Asian players who compete across the region.
