Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-yueng is convinced that his side will emerge from their current slump in the English Premier League to move up the table.
The Swans will go into upcoming clash with Norwich City at Carrow Road on the back of six defeats in their last seven games, but the South Korean star is optimistic that his side can get back on track with a victory.
“The expectations this season are higher than last season. We started this season very well, but then struggled a little bit after the international break. But every team has a period like that,” the 26-year-old told club’s official site.
“Sometimes we don’t win despite playing good football and dominating the game.
“But we don’t need to worry about that because we believe in each other and know the quality we have. Now it’s about getting a result to move back up the table.”
Swansea are currently lying in 13th position of the English top-flight competition.
