Ranking 20 best Asian players in Europe in October

From Japan, South Korea and Australia, all the way to Iran, Iraq, and Uzbekistan, Asian players have moved to Europe to advance their football career. At Football Channel Asia, we start tracking performance rating of Asian footballers since September and point out who currently play at top seven European leagues of England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Netherlands and Turkey.

The following are the current rankings of top 20 players who have made at least two appearances for their club in October:

1. Yoshinori Muto (Japan)

Yoshinori Muto is a Japanese forward who currently playing in the Bundesliga for Mainz. The attacker has played four league games for Mainz 05 in October, scoring four goals and his rating stands at 7.55. 

2. Ali Adnan (Iraq)

The Iraqi left-back is currently playing for Serie A’s Udinese. Adnan has played in all three matches of Udinese in October, and his rating stays at 7.28.

3. Park Joo-Ho (South Korea)

The left-back who currently plays for Borussia Dortmund of German Bundesliga made five appearances in October. His high rating is 7.2 out of 10.

4. Mike Havenaar (Japan)

Mike Havenaar

The Japanese striker who currently plays for ADO Den Haag of Dutch league had three league appearances in October with two goals for the club. His good form earned him the rating of 7.07 and ranked in 4th on our table.

5. Mathew Leckie (Australia)

The Australian winger who plays for Ingolstadt in the German Bundesliga has featured in all four games for the German side sin October. His rating stands at 7.06.
