Malaysian Premier League side T-Team have appointed former Indonesia U-23 tactician Rahmad Darmawan as their new boss.
The 48-year-old had been available since left Persija Jakarta following the dissolution of Indonesia Super League in May.
Rahmad, who won Indonesia’s top-flight league twice with Persipura Jayapura and Sriwijaya respectively in 2005 and 2008, replaces Croatian coach Tomislav Steinbruckner at the Terengganu-based club.
“I will start my job as T-Team coach in December,” he told reporters after signing a two-year deal.
T-Team failed to promote to the next season’s Malaysian Super League after finishing third behind Kedah and Penang in their 2015 MPL season campaign.
