Striker Mohd Amri Yahyah will miss Malaysia’s penultimate World Cup qualifying Group A match against United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the Shah Alam Stadium on Tuesday.
The Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) stalwart will serve a one-match suspension after picking up his second booking in Malaysia’s loss to Palestine at the Amman International Stadium in Jordan on Thursday.
Interim coach Datuk Ong Kim Swee has dropped Pahang centre-back Razman Roslan and Harimau Muda B’s Nazirul Naim Che Hashim due to injuries while Selangor’s Ahmad Hazwan Bakri will take leave to tie the knot.
The good news is that three other players will return to the fold – striker Mohd Safee Sali (suspension), Mohd Azamuddin Akil (injury) and midfielder Baddrol Bakhtiar (marriage).
