Muangthong United midfielder Sarach Yooyen has admitted he could be tempted to move to Malaysia and believes it would be ‘an interesting challenge’.
The 23-year-old’s contract with the Twin Qilin is due to expire in 2016 and several Malaysian Super League clubs are believed to be keeping a close eye on him.
However, Sarach – who was a part of Thailand’s triumph in the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup – is in no rush to make a decision about his future.
“Yes, there are some offers (from Malaysia), but I haven’t made any decision yet. I still have a contract with Muangthong for one more year,” Sarach told Goal Thailand.
“But I think it would be a great experience. Maybe Thai Premier League is better at the moment but Malaysian Super League is developing and it is very interesting.”
Sarach has made close to 70 appearances for Muangthong since graduating from the youth setup in 2010.
