Iranian midfielder Alireza Jamali is heading to Laos to join Lanexang United.
The 25-year-old, who played for Portugal’s Sporting Covilha in 2014, is going for physical and medical tests, and to join one of the most powerful clubs in Laos.
Lanexang United (AKA The Elephants), with the leadership of club president Mr. Phanthachith, is aiming to become a wrecking force in Asian football. This club has already invested immensely in their organization and its facilities.
The Elephants finished second in the Lao Premier League last season – behind Lao Toyota FC due to a head-to-head loss.
Jamali started his career with Foolad before playing for Pachanga Diliman in Philippines.
