Tanzanian club Young Africans have revealed that their Brazilian midfielder Andrey Coutinho will be sold to an undisclosed team in Myanmar.
Club secretary general Jonas Tiboroha told that the Brazilian will not feature for Yanga in the second round of the Mainland league, for they have already struck a deal with a Myanmar team, which he refuse to name.
“Coutinho is a good player, but he is struggling to get playing time at Yanga, so the technical bench has okayed the club to cash in on him,’ he said.
Tibaroha added: “We have finalised talks with a Myanmar club, which I won’t name today, so we are waiting for the transfer fee.”
The Yanga official also declined to disclose the amount they will get from the Myanmar club.
Coutinho, 24, had a successful stint at Myanmar National League when he scored 12 goals for Rakhapura United in 2012 season before joined the Tanzania outfit Young Africans in 2014.
