Emerson Alcantara, newly-appointed head coach of Yangon United was impressed in the strides had made in developing its talent and anticipated a tough match in tomorrow’s game.

“I am looking forward to a good game tomorrow. Cambodia has improved a lot over the last three years and have a lot of exciting youngsters whom I remember from the 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup” said the Brazilian.

“Obviously I can’t answer questions with regards to tactics but we know of our opposition players. We know their abilities and we know our strengths” said the Ex- Timor-Leste coach. “We have Adilson [Dos Santos Souza] and Luiz Fernando [Pongelupe] as our foreign players, but we must not forget our core of Myanmar players. Sometimes their contribution and importance is easily forgotten.”
