Dutch tactician Pieter Huistra has left his role as technical director and interim coach of Indonesia national team by mutual consent.
The 48-year-old was appointed to take the job by Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) in December last year but he could not start his program following the unclear situation in the country after FIFA’s ban.
“We have found an agreement to terminate my contract. Now, I will be back to Netherlands and will be looking for another job,” Huistra told Goal.
Huistra, the former Ajax Amsterdam assistant manager previously also had a short stint with local side Persipasi Bandung Raya where he led the team in the General Sudirman Cup last month.
