Vietnamese young star Nguyen Tuan Anh has become the latest signing of J2 League outfit Yokohama FC on a season-long loan from Hoang Anh Gia Lai FC.
The Japanese side has announced the deal on its official website as Tuan Anh, 20, expressed his delight at the move.
“I am very happy to be joining Yokohama FC. In my week training with the club I was able to experience the high level of Japanese players as well as the discipline and style of a pro club.
“I understand that it’s an honour to play for Yokohama FC, and at the same time a big challenge for me as well. Because of that I promise to give my best effort every day. I sincerely hope that you will all support both myself and the club this season.”
In exchange for the Vietnamese prospect, Yokohama FC agreed to loan Japanese midfielder Masaaki Ideguchi to the V.League club for one year.
Besides Tuan Anh, Nguyen Cong Phuong is another Vietnamese player who will ply his trade in the J2 League next season.
