Thiago Cunha leaves Chonburi for Port FC

Prolific striker will join after parting ways with Chonburi earlier this month, president, Nuanphan Lamsam confirmed.

Despite the relegation of the club this season, Port FC is still a big name for the footballers in . Thiago Cunha decided to join the club which relegated from 2015 TPL and will play in D1 next season. He signed the two-year contract with Port Lions.

“Will not give too many words, welcome Thiago Cunha.” Nuanphan Lamsam posted on her personal Instagram..

“A new challenge and a great task!” Thiago Cunha said for the new challenge at PAT Stadium. Together we are stronger. (I) promise (you) of two happy years! Thank you for trusting in my work.”

Thiago Cunha, 30, joined Chonburi in 2012 and became the main striker of The Sharks. He spent three years with Chonburi and scored a total 45 goals in Thai Premier League.
