South Korea U23 finalizes squad for 2016 AFC U23 Championship

U23 head coach Shin Tae-yong has announced the 23 man squad to compete in 2016 AFC U23 Championship next month.

The 45 year-old head coach had an strong squad with two stars that play in Europe – Ryu Seung-woo and Hwang Hee-chan.

In addition, the heroes of Taegeuk Warriors in the qualification campaign such as Moon Chang-jin, Lee Chang-min, Kim Seung-jun also include in the list.

South Korea U23 will have two more friendlies matches with UAE and Saudi Arabia ahead of 2016 AFC U23 Championship which starts in 12 January.

The East Asian giant is looking to finish 2016 AFC U23 Championship as one of three first team to gain a berth to compete in Olympic 2016.

Four years ago, South Korea U23 ,under the reign of Hong Myung-Bo, has claimed the bronze medal at 2012 London Olympic.
