FC Tokyo monitor Thai skipper Chanathip Songkrasin

FC Tokyo who finished 4th in 2015 J1 League is interested in another Thai footballer after hosting a one-week trial with Worachit Kanitsribampen of Chonburi FC.

The AFC Champion League outfit is looking for a more complete player and now strongly linked with a Southeast Asian stellar midfielder, Chanathip Songkrasin.

Chanathip Songkrasin is one of the best players in Southeast Asia region. Internationally, he won 2013, 2015 SEA Games and 2014 AFF Championship with . He was previously linked with Gamba Osaka, Sagan Tosu and had a trial with Shimizu S-Pulse in 2013.

BEC Tero expects to sell the Thai star for 35 million Baht ($1M) as transfer fee. However, FC Tokyo wants to loan him for a year before deciding on a permanent deal.
