Muangthong United officially announced the departure of the club’s head coach Dragan Talajic.
After finishing as runners-up in both 2015 Thai Premier League and FA Cup, Muangthong United decided to terminate the contract of the head coach, Dragan Talajic.
The Croatian tactician had spent two years in SCG Thunderdome Stadium from his 3-year contract. Muangthong United are now looking to appoint former Thai national player Tawan Sripan as the new head coach.
Dragan Talajic is one of the top coaches in Asian football. He won 2004 AFC Champions League with Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia before taking charge at Al-Kuwait who eliminated Muangthong United out of 2011 AFC Cup quarter-finals. He joined Muangthong United three years later.
